Yi JianLian NIKE AIR FORCE 1 SUPREME
Amid some controversy, budding Chinese superstar Yi JianLian left his home country in 2007 to play Basketball in the US. Drafted sixth overall by the Milwaukee Bucks, the multi talented Yi is currently averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds as a rookie starter in an unfamiliar league. In tribute to his first year in the league, Nike is set to release the "Yi" Nike Air Force 1 Supreme. With Gucci-esque inspiration, the "Yi" Nike Air Force 1 features very rich and detailed upper combination of a Creme colored premium leather and a monogram Yi print in the toebox and midpanel. Yi's "scorpion Yi" logo replaces the Nike Air logo at the heel tab as well.

The "Yi" Nike Air Force 1 Low is set to release as a Tier Zero release in Yi's home country during the month of Feb.

At this point a domestic release has not been confirmed.

Following up on last year's "Iron Maiden" Vans sk8 hi, Vans recently released their follow up, the "Iron Maiden II" Vans sk8 hi. The "Iron Maiden II" Vans sk8 his feature a Black Suede upper with the artwork from Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" single emblazoned on both sides. Like the "Iron Maiden 1" the "Iron Maiden II" features the Iron Maiden logo screen on the the midsole. The "Iron Maiden II" Vans sk8 hi is available now at select Vans accounts.

First previewed at last year’s Project trade show in Las Vegas, Greedy Genius will release a new model in the coming month. Named Apache, the high-top model took hints from the popular Air Jordan’s from the 1980s-1990s. The new sneaker will be part of the more exclusive GEO GREEDY PRVLG Collection for Spring.

Re-launched last year after a 3-year hiatus, Sung Choi and company is introducing a certain sense of simplicity and aestheticism in sneakers, especially with this year’s collection. On view at Capsule were the Spring 2008 line-up, to be launch in retailers in the coming month. Again, Clae played it up with premium materials of leather, suede, and canvas. However, with a new addition of classic pattern, such as wing-tip perforation. A great mix of contemporary lifestyle with traditional wares.

Putting the literal practice into the saying, “Sign your name in blood,” KDU member Bob Partington reengineered the writing instrument for a more poetic purpose so to speak. Using blood in favor of ink, the syringe drawing the fluid also serves as an attachment towards the pen’s mechanism. The blood pen will make its debut at Bread and Butter, Untitled Exhibition in Barcelona Spain on January 16, 2008.

The 25th anniversary year of the Air Force 1 is over, but Nike continues to release their all-time classic quite heavily. Here we have come across the new AF1 Stingray. There are plenty of boom box-inspired iPod setups, but there's nothing that even comes close to the Lasonic Ghetto Blaster. The device is 15-pounds and features an iPod dock and support for USB flash drives and SD/MMC memory cards. No word on price or release day, but it's certainly hood fab.
