Hypebeast first previewed the Ferrari California back in early October, mainly due to our appreciation for the Italian car makers knack for sleek, aesthetically pleasing design. Although the price tag is made for that of a professional athlete or real estate mogul, a Ferrari will always remain automotive eye candy. With the California 2009 model set to release, Ferrari teases us with a configurator offering 27 exterior color choices, 12 different leather hues, three wheel options with five brake caliper choices, leading to no fewer than 4,860 combination’s and tons of procrastination time. Mazda's latest design direction, the Mazda "Taiki." 

Inspired by the shape and flow of wind itself, Mazda declares the exterior lines are inspired by wind flowing through a Hagoromo, the "flowing robes that enable a celestial maiden to fly." Their challenge was to create "a design that visually expresses the flow of air" and visually expresses the atmosphere - called taiki in Japanese. Mazda's concept is forward thinking and a breath of fresh air.
