OriginalFake x Nike Air Max Series
On Saturday, October 18th 2008, Nike Sportswear will release two Air Max sneakers created in partnership with OriginalFake. The iconic Air Max 90 and the Air Max 90 Current receive a technical update by OriginalFake and Nike Sportswear Design Director Jesse Leyva.
Featuring innovative 4-way stretch textiles, the two shoes take inspiration from ACG, Nike’s outdoor product line, creating “something with a trail running attitude, on an iconic footwear style” says Leyva. KAWS added, "I wanted to create a simple shoe that I could wear, with subtle design elements someone could enjoy on a more personal level."
The Air Max 90 and Air Max 90 Current created in partnership between ORIGINALFAKE and NIKE will be exclusively available on October 18th, 2008 at the following retailers:

Run's House Spinoff: Daddy's Girls
Angela and Vanessa Simmons have moved out of 'Run's House' and on to their own reality series.Revealed on AOL's Blackvoices, the Simmons sisters are slated to appear on 'Daddy's Girls,' a reality series that will follow the sisters as they adjust to life in Los Angeles.
Slated to air on MTV, 'Daddy's Girls' will also showcase Angela and Vanessa Simmons' 'Pastry' shoe and clothing line as the girls transform the line into a more grown-up brand.
"I appreciate my process because that's going to make me stronger in the end and the best talent that I can possibly give the world" says Vanessa Simmons.

These are the first sunglasses from Maison Martin Margiela and have been made in collaboration with Italian eyewear brand Marcolin.
L’incognito, shown here in bronze, is made from a solid piece of Polycarbonate. The lenses mimic the censored bar motif that the house has used in its catalogues and look-books for years and are available from oki-ni in black and bronze.

Releasing as well is a new front zip down hoody which is similar to the recent “XX” release except this piece features a print along the backside with a solid front. Both have now dropped at L’intrus.

The homey Joe over at Complex recently sat down with the Capo and got some info on the remake of “Swagger Like Us” that he’s doing with Wayne, Juelz and Chink Santana. He also speaks on the original and what he perceives as a lack of swag on the part of some of the MC’s who spit on it. Hit the jump for some gems.

Nike ACG’s clothing and footwear line is designed for the outdoors where water resistancy and breathability are important factors. Inspired by these fundamentals, Nike has released this Air Force One Mid sneaker which mimics design elements from the Nike ACG department including ballistic nylon mesh and the “boot” laces. Diet Butcher Slim Skin Sneakers
While a brief overview of Diet Butcher Slim Skin’s fashion offerings, the brand takes an active stance in creatively designed pieces including interesting draping and cuts. While their collections are often on the slimmer side of things, their footwear has consistently broken free from the streamline and fitted stylings of its apparel counterpart. The brand’s sneakers are a decidedly much more chunky and offer a textbook definition of the term high-top which seem consistent with a number of smaller Japanese footwear releases as of late.
