Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki coming to Hollywood
Making his way to the west coast, Japan’s version of Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, will bring his creative collective to Tinsel Town. Expanding his animation and artistic capabilities, a studio under the Kaikai Kiki firm has been leased on North Highland Avenue with their first scheduled project being a animated film based on Murakami’s “Planting the Seeds” shorts. The full article regarding Murakami’s expansion can be found at the Los Angeles Times art section.
