Lil Wayne To Release New Version Of Tha Carter III
^ The ultrasound for Wayne’s unborn son.MTV had the chance to speak with Lil Wayne after the BET Hip-Hop Awards and he said that he will be dropping a new version of Tha Carter III with brand new songs. He also made a point to emphasize that it won’t be Tha Carter IV… and to keep corniness at a minimum, let’s not call it 3.5 either.
The Jay Arra also mentioned that he’ll be having a junya in a few days.

This might be a good look, considering the replay value of some of the songs had on there, and that Blender article was quite intriguing… what if Wayne just stuck to the ballads that were safe to kill radio, and left the lean-induced bars (see: Drought 3) to the side. Also, what I wanna know is will Baby be the baby’s grandfather, or stepfather? But more importantly, will Wayne let Baby around his son when he’s not around?

On November 25th, 2008, Kanye West will be releasing his new album, 808’s & Heartbreak. According to some rumors as well as the already released songs from the album (Love Lockdown and Heartless), this album will consist of more singing rather than rapping . Now, thanks to The Clones, we get a preview of some promo shots done for the album by photographer Willy Vanderperre. Notice that Kanye’s style has changed a lot since his previous albums.

OriginalFake x Nike Air Max Series
On Saturday, October 18th 2008, Nike Sportswear will release two Air Max sneakers created in partnership with OriginalFake. The iconic Air Max 90 and the Air Max 90 Current receive a technical update by OriginalFake and Nike Sportswear Design Director Jesse Leyva.
Featuring innovative 4-way stretch textiles, the two shoes take inspiration from ACG, Nike’s outdoor product line, creating “something with a trail running attitude, on an iconic footwear style” says Leyva. KAWS added, "I wanted to create a simple shoe that I could wear, with subtle design elements someone could enjoy on a more personal level."
The Air Max 90 and Air Max 90 Current created in partnership between ORIGINALFAKE and NIKE will be exclusively available on October 18th, 2008 at the following retailers:

Run's House Spinoff: Daddy's Girls
Angela and Vanessa Simmons have moved out of 'Run's House' and on to their own reality series.Revealed on AOL's Blackvoices, the Simmons sisters are slated to appear on 'Daddy's Girls,' a reality series that will follow the sisters as they adjust to life in Los Angeles.
Slated to air on MTV, 'Daddy's Girls' will also showcase Angela and Vanessa Simmons' 'Pastry' shoe and clothing line as the girls transform the line into a more grown-up brand.

OriginalFake x Nike Air Max Series
After much anticipation and uncertainty, Nike Sportswear has finally dropped the official word on the release of the KAWS/OriginalFake Nike Air Max Series. Two styles will release including a white style in the traditional Air Max 90 format and the Jesse Leyva created Air Max 90 Current (with its Free sole) in black. Much like how OriginalFake has incorporated selected elements of technical fabric into their apparel, these shoes itself feature 4-way stretch fabrics with inspirations derived from Nike ACG. According to KAWS, the design goal was “…to create a simple shoe that I could wear, with subtle design elements someone could enjoy on a more personal level.” The shoes release on October 18th, 2008 at only two locations nationwide, Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer and Nike Sportswear at The Montalbán.
